* Earrings for a Friend

I asked Carolyn which kind of earrings she would like ... ordinary every day, or Day of the Dead.  She chose Day of the Dead.  Today, I will package those up and get them ready for the mail.  I won't post the packaging or the earrings I choose until after she receives.  Don't want to spoil the surprise.  :o)

I had fun making this card to present a pair of my earrings to a friend.  This could get addictive too ...

I would like to believe when I die that I have given myself away like a tree that sows seed every spring and never counts the loss, because it is not loss, it is adding to future life. It is the tree's way of being. Strongly rooted perhaps, but spilling out its treasure on the wind.--May Sarton

  1. The card is perfect for the earrings! And you are so right, card making is an awful lot of fun, too. Everything we get interested in has its own set of supplies!

  2. Beautiful packaging! You always do a fine job. Have a nice weekend. take care, gerri

  3. Lovely work, as always Donna! Hope you are keeping well and that it is not too hot. We have nice weather just now, warm and sunny. Have a lovely day, and take care of yourself! Hugs, Valerie

  4. Wonderful May Sarton quote!

    I just found you today thru a link form Joseph Bennett's FB page. I'll be back often. If you like hand-made books, you might want to check out my blog/challenge, where I am making and posting a book a day for a year.
