Dia de los Muertos

It's Dia de los Muertos here in Mexico. The city is covered with alters, marigolds and a beautiful wine/purple flower I do not know the name of.

I made a little alter here in my home in honour of my family. I think it's a lovely tradition.

Thanks for dropping by my lovely's.  Sangria is READY.  On the terrace .....

Blog Candy .... YEAH ....

Come on in! I am having a celebration.  Getting locked out of my blog by blogger was no fun - however on the whole I have loved every minute of blogging and have made many fiends in this community.  That's the part I love best.

873 posts!   I was amazed at that - so thought it was time for a giveaway.  Hope you will all participate and have some fun. The draw will take place on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 29th.   Don't miss it. Rules of the game:

1. Be a Member of my blogging community (a follower).

2. Grab my button and display it in a prominent place on your blog.

3. Grab the 'Blog Candy' button and display it at the top of your blog.

4.  Leave a comment on this post telling me which part of the candy is your favorite.  xo

I will be adding a couple more things before the draw, so keep your eyes on it.  :o)

Then, just sit back and wait.   Good Luck.  Can't wait to see who wins.   Here's some pictures.

Thanks for dropping by my lovely's.  Nice to see you again and hear what you have to say.  Sangria brewing.  ....

.... Times, they are a-changin' .....

I haven't been to my sight for so long, I almost forget how it works!!!!! Thank you so much to those who have kept in touch. Your support means so much.

I've 'picked up the pace' in the painting department and am painting every day with a very famous artist.  I don't want to mention the name on the blog as I'm not sure it would be appropriate.  Many of you would know the name already.

At any rate, I am going for the gold.  Improving my techniques, finding galleries and places to hold exhibitions.  It's been a wild ride believe me, and I'm only just getting my energy back and my feet on the ground.

I am now selling my prints and cards on Fine Art America - so pop over and have a boo.  I have another entire disk of paintings to upload which I don't have back from the photographer yet, but you will see some new works.  Click on this link and you will be led to my page.  Fine Art America

I do have some cards here in Mexico if any of you are interested let me know and I'll let you know what's available.  "Always With You" is available as a Christmas card.  The words inside are "May this coming year bring to everything you need and all you long for."

After much investigation, I find shipping costs from Mexico about the same as FAA, and although the profit margin is much less, it's OK because I simply don't have the time to constantly be printing and shipping via Mex Express.  Only one post office in town located centrally and a hassle to get to. So the decision was made - put it on the web.  Hope you will explore if you are interested.  :o)

I'm uploading a few of my new paintings for your comments.  Would love to hear from you.

More to come shortly.  Let me know what you think, please.

After such a long absence, I'll try soon to get around to visit each of you again and get my rhythm back.  Thanks so much for dropping by - lovely to see you here again.  Sangria will be ready in about a week.  See you on the terrace.
