I'm B....A.....C....K

Good morning my Lovlies.  It's been a  l o n g  time, and I wonder how you all are and what exciting, inspiring, wonderful things you have been up to for this past year.  I will try and get caught up, little by little.

I'm really not sure where to begin.  So much has happened.  Life, some exciting, happy and exhilarating, some sad, some good and some that could make a person throw themselves off the rooftop.  ... I'm still here.  Somehow we enjoy the good bits and leave the bad bits behind, while dealing with our day to day mostly magical lives.

I'll keep this short and ease back into my blogging routine.  I am still painting ... a passion that will never end for me.  So ... here's a few of my latest.  I think the last post included an Angel and her little helpers placing the moon and stars back into the sky for the night.  It wasn't finished.  I will begin there.

"Lighting The Night"  5' x 3" oil on canvas

"The Bedouin Bride"  18" X 24" oil on canvas

"A Little Town in Mexico" 3' X 3' oil on canvas

Other little hints as to what has taken place.  My dear friend from Australia was here for seven weeks.  We went to ???  I've had some art Exhibitions.  Was accepted permanently by a Gallery and have since left due to other surprising circumstances.  Lots of friends down from north of the border since I last posted.  And probably the most profound happening in my life since I last posted, my dearest friend and mentor, Toller Cranston, died suddenly and without saying good bye on January 24th of this year.

I will slowly try and bring you up to date.  Also made a short trip to Canada ... more news there.

The weather is beautiful here this time of year.  Rainy season has come to an end and I bask in sunshine during the day and cool nights filled with stars.  It's sangria weather and I think there might be a pitcher on the terrace.  Join me??

  3. I totally agree with Valerie --- it is super good to see you and I have once again subscribed to your blog. I thought I had lost you for good especially since our move and getting a new computer and loosing most of my addresses. You are still in glorious form - the colors of Mexico agree with you.My favorite is the little town in Mexico. I have always been fond of buildings.
I am sorry about the death of your good friend.
Thank you so much for not forgetting me Donna - I sure have not forgotten you!
