Hi my lovelies. Had a busy busy day, however accomplished much. For all of you in or near San Miguel de Allende, or who are coming down soon. there are a number of my new paintings in Hecho en Mexico located on the Ancha. Here's a little taste of what is there. Please keep in mind these are not the professional photographs I use for print making ... have to give him a call. Just my little camera and actually, not great!
"Waiting for Toller" oil on canvas, gold leaf frame
Toller had two English Setters when he lived in Canada. He loved them very much. We had that interest in common as I once had an English Setter. Such beautiful dogs. Anyway, their names were Lapis and Mingus. A Blue and a Liver. So here they are, on the other side, accompanied by his Guardian Angle, awaiting Tollers' arrival.
"M'Lady" oil on canvas, gold leaf frame
"Gypsy Woman", mixed media on canvas, gold leaf frame.
"A Little Town in Mexico", oil on canvas, 42" X 42" gold leaf frame
"Gypsy Love" otherwise known as "Mama, will you still love me when I am artist?" oil on canvas, gold leaf frame
Recommendation: If your anywhere near Hecho, pop in for lunch and have a look at the beautiful art which graces the walls of a wonderful restaurant. Toller's work is there, along with my colleague and friend, Andrew Osta. An added treat to an exquisite lunch. Eric is the owner. Be sure to say hi if you drop by.
Hope your day was amazing and life is being kind to you. I'm on a 'recruiting mission' for people who are interested in reading my blog. All you have to do is go to 'join this site" in the side bar, and sign up. Would love to have you.
By the way, it's just about sunset, birds are singing their heads off in my beautiful tree. ..... sangria is on. You ... and ... me. What do you say?
Until later my sweets ...
“You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don't know it, all of that doesn't even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It's not like you have forever, so don't waste any of your seconds, don't throw even one of your moments away.”
