Un Diario para me (A Journal for me)

Hi there my lovelies!  Nice to see you again ... hope your day is going well.

I haven't done any personal journaling for such a long time, thought perhaps I would like to do some.  It will keep me busy while I'm not painting.

I used a children's book cover ... quite an old one, although there was not date and some pages were missing inside, I would say late 1930's or 1940's.   It's a lovely playful cover and was fun to make.  I put all sorts of papers inside and will play with the pages as I go along.  Here we go ...

Six signatures.  Holes still are not straight ... practice, practice!

Journal Cover ... so playful.  Puts you in the mood.

Journal back cover.

 Binding complete.

 First pages

Playing with some of the other pages

Sandy, to answer your question .. yes I do put some of my painting in.  If they are for sale, I make pockets and include a couple of my cards or postcards.

Haven't done any more.  Will try and journal a little every day, while I dream up something else to keep me busy.  lol

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Enjoy the moment.

  1. Fantastic book that you have turned into a journal, looks great, and hope you have fun filling the pages with your art and stories. Take care of yourself, hugs, Valerie

  2. Love the book covers that you used in this new journal....so many possibilities for you. Looking forward to seeing more of the pages filled with your creative hands. Have a wonderful day.

  3. Loving your journal, Donna! Keep us posted on the progress :)

  4. Hey Sugar Plum - the picture of you on this post looks like royalty. What a hat!!!
Your journal looks like something really fun to work in. If I found a book like that around here, they wold want a fortune for it. I hope you keep posting what you are doing in your own private journal. Makes me feel like I am peeking in your window!
