A little bit of mail art ....

My Lovelies!  You are here.  How great is this.  Love it when you just drop in!  :o)

Mail art and pen pals have not been a part of my creative life for a very long time.  Just didn't have the energy ... now, I beginning to realize why.

The other issues about sending letters was mail situation .. a lot of it did not get to its destination.  Going back to Canada for a little while as you know.  Did a couple of envelopes today to send via Canada Post and hope to have a great outcome!  Enjoyed spiffing up the envelopes.  Will write the letters when I get there.

That's it for today from my studio in San Miguel.  Thanks for dropping by.  Enjoy the moment.

“How wonderful it is to be able to write someone a letter! To feel like conveying your thoughts to a person, to sit at your desk and pick up a pen, to put your thoughts into words like this is truly marvelous.”

~ Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

  1. They all look great, and hope they will reach their destinations safely from Canada - I remember about the bad post situation in Mexico. Love the 'memories' quote, too. Have a lovely day, hugs, Valerie

  2. I like the doodle lines around the images. These look lovely. You're ahead of the game to get them done now.

  3. These mail art creations are just wonderful and will be appreciated by whoever receives them. I hope your postal experience in Canada will be a lot better than all of your Mexico fiascos.

  4. My dear Donna! I have just spent part of the afternoon binge-reading all your blogs from the past long while. What a joy it's been to be able to feel so connected to you. I am hoping that I will get to see you soon in San Miguel (January 18-April 1st) and be able to see the gorgeous journals and bookmarks (love those bookmarks) and the beautiful crystals and beads FOR REAL. Wonderful to hear of your time at the beach and the deep connections you've had. Loved all the memories. I think of you so often and will keep reading this blog until I see you again. Counting the weeks! Love and hugs, Edye

    1. Edye! What a wonderful surprise. Thanks for dropping by. I'm leaving for Canada soon - just a business trip - so probably won't be blogging much over the next few days. Can't wait to see you both. xoxoxoxoo Donna
