A Little Spiritual Sparkle

Another day ahead to live to the fullest my Lovelies.  What is everyone up to?  Make some magic.

I must tell you, I am having withdrawl from the easel.  So tempted to pick up a paint brush.  Longing to go to the art store.  I know I have no more storage room -- however!!!  Perhaps a few small ones ..  have issues with small ... would much rather work large.  So there you are ... my little rant for the day.

I have a few antique crystals with me, so decided to dig them out and make some Light Catchers.  I think they are so pretty in the window ... all sparkly and happy.  I haven't made all the hooks as yet, so they are not quite finished.  Then I like to put them out under the full moon, cover them in sea salt, and say a little blessing.  I will probably wait until I get back to Canada to do that.
Crystals and pearls - always a nice combo.

These are very old crystals found in a junk shop.  Made two of these, and would you believe I dropped one (after it was complete) and broke the arrow end off!  I'll try and mend it with glue .. anyone have any suggestions what kind??

Finished the hook on this one as well.

 Partial to the blue beads.

Should you live by the sea, this is fun.  Seashells and a piece of turquoise.

 Sparkle, sparkle.

Do you like the little string of beads?

I have more, however thought you were probably sparkled out by now.  :o)

All of these were made out of old junk jewelry ... so much fun.

Last evening the sky was so soft, and in the evening light my upstairs terrace seemed even more lovely than usual.  Thought I would share.

Enjoy the moment and thanks for dropping by.

“Consider the fact that maybe…just maybe…beauty and worth aren’t found in a makeup bottle, or a salon-fresh hairstyle, or a fabulous outfit. Maybe our sparkle comes from somewhere deeper inside, somewhere so pure and authentic and REAL, it doesn’t need gloss or polish or glitter to shine.”

  1. Love your beautiful sun-catchers. great idea with the old beads and crystal drops. I have a glue from Vivadecor which is meant for gluing gems into things, looks milky, but dries invisible. I don't know if you can still get it, as I have had it for several years. Glad you got your followers back on the blog! Hugs,
