A Most Interesting Artist

Another beautiful day my lovelies.  Hope you are making some magic.

Just outside San Miguel, on a lovely piece of land in the Mexican country side, live Anado McLauchlin and his partner.  When in the area, you simply cannot miss meeting them and seeing his art.  When my friend was here from Australia, we spent some time at Anado's.  Thought you might find it interesting as well.
Meet Anado.  No, this is not his house.  It's one of the many galleries, nooks and cranny's on the property.

Everything you will see in these photos, has been built from the ground up.  He simply cannot stop!

Now, we are walking up towards the house.

Passing some of the workers who help keep the grounds.

... and on into the house

The main living area - full of light and colour.

 LOVE these doors!

Time to say goodbye.

Just a little glimpse into the life and work of one of San Miguel's many interesting people.  Hope you you had fun.  Enjoy the moment.

  1. What a fantastic place, and a most interesting artist. I love his 'village', and his vision, and the beauty he creates. The world needs more people like him, who bring beauty, colour and fun into their surroundings and influence the lives of others with it. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post Donna! Hugs, Valerie
