Back Home in San Miguel

Hello my Lovelies.  I haven't been posting much.  Mostly 'in transit' or waiting to be 'in transit'.

At the moment I'm back in Mexico, where the sun is shining and the sangria is always on.  Preparing for a move to Canada ... but first ... let's get our priorities right and have a Soiree.  Since I moved here in 2000, I have had a Soiree in the garden every year ... usually around Christmas.  This year, it will be a "Farewell" Soiree ... however I absolutely knew there must be one more .... to remember.

As the airport shuttle pulled up in front of my home and I disembarked, the gates opened, and much to my surprise, my housekeeper and gardener were waiting with big hugs.  I cried.  It felt so exquisitely wonderful to be back ... however, I do know the next phase of my life in Canada will be just as wonderful .. in a very different way.

So, today, while Reyes cleaned the yard, trimmed the flowers and filled the fountain, Kathleen and I went shopping.  Well!  What do you expect! :o)

Yesterday,  I stopped at one of my favorite haunts for a bite of breakfast and ran into two very dear friends.  We enjoyed laughing and taking over a wonderful meal.  So great to see them

Monday afternoon is the Soiree -- I will take photos.  Looking forward to seeing all the dear ones who have changed me forever.

For now, Adios Amiga's.  I'll post again after the Soiree.

In the meantime, hope all is well with each of you.  Thank you for stopping by and remember ... enjoy the moment.

“Home is where you go to find solace from the ever changing chaos, to find love within the confines of a heartless world, and to be reminded that no matter how far you wander, there will always be something waiting when you return.”
