WELL! My Lovelies ... let me share something with you. PEOPLE, AMIGA'S and absolutely AWESOME.
I'm sure you already knew that .. however just in case, I have gotten a huge reminder that the world is indeed still a miraculous place. I mentioned in my blog, I had gone to the $ store for supplies in desperation as I didn't have any supplies here with me. I certainly did not expect a response to that remark ... I found it quite funny I was scrounging for supplies when I have so much in my home in Mexico. At any rate, I've experienced magical events as a result of that remark.
Edye, a friend of mine from Canada is sending me a package, Valerie has already packed and mailed a care package. To top it all off, Yvonne, who I have known for some years from my blog, and who now lives forty five minutes from my new home sent me an email. She indicated she was cleaning out her craft room and could she do a drop and run at my door, leaving me a 'few things'. I answered saying "Please stop for tea. I'd love to meet you and I need to see another human. lol". This is where the miracle comes in. She and her husband dropped in on Sunday with a 'few things'! I nearly fainted. They walked in ... each carrying a heavy arm full of supplies. I was gasping for air I was so excited. An entire craft shop was delivered to my door. To top it all off, it was like meeting old friends ... we just 'clicked', and I know our friendship will continue. A HUGE thank you, once again, Yvonne.
Here's some photos ...
TONS of paper!
Stamps, ink, tape, alphabet punch outs, etc.
Ribbon, lace, string
Tags, cut card stock, sets, wooden bits, etc. etc. etc.
Blank albums, small blank journals, tags, library cards, snowflakes, rusty old stuff!
And to top it all off ... a GREAT BIG tube of craft paints!
Needless to say you could have cleaned the floor with me. I was so excited, after they left, I skyped a friend and we went through the bag together ... then I went through it twice more .. now I'm going through it yet again to try and organize it into categories. So blessed. Many thanks, yet again, Yvonne.
And to you ... thanks so much for dropping by. I adore hearing from you. Remember to enjoy each moment ... one at a time.
