Very Special Friends and a Journal Page

My Lovelies!  How are you today.  Tell me everything .. even your little secrets, and let's get to know each other.  Wouldn't it be fun.  We shall meet in some exotic place upon this earth, and drink copious amounts of champagne while discussing our stories.  What fun.

I'm covering two topics in this post.  There is a journal page at the end so I am linking to Art Journal Journey.

Edye and I met through Toller a couple of years ago.  Instantly, as one can be sprinkled with fairy dust, Edye and I knew we have known each other at least forever.

My blog comment saying I did not have creative supplies, thew many of my friends into instant action.  Edye was one of them.  "What do you need?  What haven't you got?  What is missing?  I'm taking some things to the goodwill and if you can use anything I will send it."  WELL ... send it she did.  I have been ooooogling and sorting every since.  Allow me to share what my dear friend has sent me.

You can imagine my excitement.  The Waterhouse, Maxfield Parrish, as well as Japanese haikus and prints, absolutely thrilled me.  My taste exactly.  The Indian Goddess above is most interesting.  She's an original, painted on paper.  I'd like to do some research to find out who she is.  THEN ... there is the jewelry .. oh! the lure of the pieces, some from Bali, and the inspiration rolling around in my noggin.  I'm simply floating at least two feet off the ground.

So, my Dear Edye ... Muchos gracias mi Amiga.  Hope we will connect at some point this year.
And now for my journal page.  My word for the year was drawn out of a hat.  It could not be any more appropriate if I had pondered it for months.  CHANGE.  Yup.  Huge changes this year.  Change is one of the constants in life.  Out of our control.  I've decided to embrace it ... much better vibration!
Once again, let me say how much I appreciate your coming to have a boo and leaving a comment.  Enjoy each moment.
“Friendship ... is born at the moment when one woman says to another "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . .”
