Off to meet "The Boys"

Good morning Lovelies.  It has actually stopped raining!  I am now doing the Happy Dance.

Quick post today.  I'm off to Port Angeles to meet Mario and Luis and the thirty-two foot trailer that is carrying my household goods.  We will catch the 8:00 am ferry tomorrow morning and cross into Canada through Canadian Customs tomorrow, at about 10:00 am.

It will be a long day -- and a happy day to see my my belongings.  My little house will become home as it receives the things I love.

By the way, I have named my home "The Eighth Star".  Had a sign made in Mexico.

They have been driving now for seven long days straight.

Name of my new home.

That's it for this morning my lovelies.  Leaving soon.  Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by.  See you when I get back.

“She was scared about leaving everything, and I got that, but I also knew you couldn't start living in the new place until you said fuck-all to the old.”

  1. Finger crossed for that!

  2. I know that it is going to feel good to be surrounded by the things you love. Have fun unpacking and setting up your new home.
    Your blogging sister,
    Connie :)

  3. You will be so close, Donna! I know you will be incredibly busy, or I would pop over and give you a hug, just half an hour from us and from Patty. I'm so glad your belongings will be under your new roof (what a cool name) and you can start living anew. You have such wonderful and devoted friends!

  4. Such a happy and positive post today. I hope you and your treasures will soon be reunited

    Love Chrissie xx

  5. Have a fun day with the gorgeous boys, hope all goes smoothly, I will be thinking of you! Big hugs Valerie

  6. That was fast! Don't try and unpack everything at once. I made that mistake when we moved into our new home. It can wear out the body and the mind. Having your possessions will add joy and make the "Eighth Star" more welcoming and make your life much happier. So happy for you! Hugs,

  7. Hope your journey to meet your things went smoothly. I bet you are very exciting for your things. Time to get resettled so you do feel at home and not like you are just visiting. That always helps the adjustment I think. Have a great week. Hugs-Erika
