Gypsy Courage

Greetings my lovelies.  Oh so nice to see you here.  Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend.

Looking back on my life, I realize I have the soul of a Gypsy.  Wanderlust stirs, curiosity rages, and I seem to find the courage to move about the world, making a new life in places that allow my heart to sing.  Eventually, I return to the mother land in which I was born, although I have a sneaking suspicion the stork may have yawned at an inopportune moment and dropped me on a continent which was not in the 'big plan'.  :o)

The move from Mexico back to Canada has been an interesting one.  A time to learn more about myself - go within once again and have a good look.  I'm certainly not settled.  It will take time.  I'm prepared for that.  I shant go on ...   I've been doing some journal pages which reflect my inner explorations.  Here is one of them.

Thanks for dropping by.  It is indeed a pleasure to read your comments.

“When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. ”
~ Paulo Coelho, The Devil and Miss Prym

  1. You are a world citizen and have spent a lot of time going back and forth between different lands and cultures, and I am sure it is not easy for you now just to settle down and get everything done, and it will take time for you to feel a part of your new surroundings. Love the journal page you made, journaling is always good for us. Hugs, Valerie

  11. I was SO glad I dropped by your blog today, because you are a very gifted artist. Wanderlust is understandable for those of us who don't like to sit still long. But your art speaks so beautifully of your free spirit. I enjoyed both your quote and the beautiful and colorful page you added it to.
