Dear Friends and Happy Mail ....

Good morning my lovelies.  Happy to see you here.  I have not been visiting any of you -- hopefully I'll get around soon when I'm feeling better.  I certainly have not forgotten you!

I've had some wonderful Happy Mail and a great reunion which I must share with you.  The Happy Mail has been sitting here for awhile.  My regrets for not acknowledging it sooner! As they say - better late than never.

Had a lovely card and letter from Carolyn, whom I've known through swaps and blogging since 2004.  We have talked on the phone, written letters, emailed, however have never had the pleasure of meeting in person. Thank you Carolyn for the lovely card -- your beautiful style as usual - always admired.

Sometime ago, I received an awesome package from Valerie.  Still drooling over the contents.  Thank you so very much, dear Valerie.

Some seven years ago when I started my blog, Patty and I connected. Over the  years a lovely friendship developed.  Last night, Patty, her husband Stu, and the lovely Bailey came over for the evening.  We spent some happy hours talking, eating, catching up and enjoying the time together as old friends do.  I was delighted to get my 'doggy fix' with Bailey here.

Bailey, Patty and myself.

That's all the news of the moment.  Thanks so much for dropping by.  I'll be over to see you soon.

To be with old friends is very warming and comforting.

  10. What endearing photos of your visit by Stu, Patty and the Bailster! Aren't they the coolest family? Some day, Donna, I will get a chance to meet you, too, but alas...we have no doggie. I'll have to hug you instead!

  11. Oh, my. Lovely now that we are back home to re-visit our time together. Meeting you and hearing your voice all had such a familiar ring to them - I'm not sure what to make of it.... but I know it's a good thing. Sending off a little note soon and I'm going to post a pic of the beautiful print you have gifted me with.
